How will Transit Service be affected during the storm?

Should students consider parking their cars in the garage?

In the event the university closes in preparation for incliment weather, students can move their vehicle to the Nicholson Gateway Garage, floors 1-4 of the Union Square Garage, or any of the other lots on campus without receiving a citation.  All vehicles must be returned to their assigned parking zone by 7:00 am as soon as campus reopens.    

Are there low lying parking lots that are prone to flooding?

Aster street, Alaska Street, South Stadium Lot, behind Coates Hall, PMAC lot, Beach Volleyball, the Greek Amphitheater, AG Livestock Lot, EB Duran Hall Lot, and some of the residential areas on the East side of campus have flash flood potential. With a storm of this size, other areas may have the potential to flood.  Students can move their vehicle to the Nicholson Gateway Garage, Union Square Garage, or any of the other lots on campus without receiving a citation.  All vehicles must be returned to their assigned park in their assigned zone by 7:00 am as soon as campus reopens.
